wasnt happy mine came up as 20.6 mpg i get 250 miles to a tank

24 mpg here, not suprising I suppose

I got 300 miles from a tank... once.

I do thnk I get more using super unleaded, but that may well be in my head

29.02mpg mine came up at 300 miles on average to a tank although i could quite easily get that down to sub 20mpg

car never warms up properly would be my guess, it swings in roundabouts

i used to drive my 1.2...2 miles to and from work per day, and i would only use 1 tank a month costing me 40quid

i know driver 34 miles round trip to work and use a tank a week, presumeably because my 1.2 uses more fuel cruising at motorway speed.

on the flip side i borrowed my mums 1.6 focus out of curiosity to do the 34 mile trip and only used half a tank for the week, and was probably driving faster!!!

much more ergonomics to it i reckon though

I've done mine with what i normally fill up at.. comes to 27mpg which is about right for me.. but then i see the example at the bottom..

"12,000 miles would cost you - £2032"

So if I did no mileage this year i'd be able to spend £1500 easy on a supercharger by now

excuse me? i have one on my dashboard but that tells you each trip, and does not calculate your whole tank, no need to insult me

Try setting #2 Mike. Keeps an ongoing track until reset. Which I do when I fill up, simples.

although of course you wouldn't be able to do the whole 12,000 miles using petrol of the same price making the calculation pointless.

I do that, but I make sure If I'm on my own that the twisties go through chav infested towns.

try using the mfa correctly

my vw came with a handbook it tells you how to use it lol

may not be totally accurate but you get a ball park figure..so not really pointless.

There is a good mileage calculator for the iphone which can store figures for a number of cars and tabulate the results. Good if you're into that sort of thing.
