tommy 0
I know this company came highly recommended from mark and Justin but I must add the 1st class service I received this morning when I took my vr to have a full geometry set up since fitting the koni coilovers earlier this week, the price all in came to £46.94 including before and after printouts.....the car now drives 110% betterThey are just off the a13 in Rainham Essex.....well worth a trip if you need this sort of work done
VR6Steve 0
Whole heartedly agree with you. We've been there a few times and can't fault their service and have not been able to beat their prices either.
dub_weiser 0
I've been using them for a while now. They're not bad at all.
dubloke 4
when u say full geometry set-up do you mean rear camber adjust also? the price is very keen if so, and though not the sceptical type when given the people involved reccomendations, i have yet to find a company offering a better service than audi's 4wd breizbass equipment for accuracy in itself! binliner 0
you cant ajust the rear camber on a mk3 can you?
binliner 0
well you can but not without adding things
mark@vagworx 0
Always a top service from Elite. The Mk3's non adjustable. No adjustment on the trailing arms at all
tommy 0
I did ask about the rear but as justin and mark said there is no standard adjustment...........i was told you can add shims or somthing so it can be made adjusted though..... The car in front was a r33 skyline......this sort of thing is there bread and butter so i cant see them having a problem with more complex cars....the big thing for me was the price most places would charge twice that for the same job! VR6Rich 3
Had mine done at a place called Protyre in Bristol. Think it cost about £47 and they did the full laser treatment. Top quality, and they straightened my backbox while the car was on the ramps for free too. :-)
jcorallo 0
I'll stick my oar in with this one.I go to Elite all the time - mainly cos there is no-one else I've found that can do camber in Essex near to me.In the main, they are OK - but it does depend on who you get. They do employ a lot of very young mecahnics and I sometimes felt that they didnt give a shit about how accurate their work was.I also found that they revved the bollox off my car (sort of held the throttle to the floor in order to start it up) when they had finished the work. Also drove it too fast from the workshop bay area back to the customer parking. Lack of respect and a hint of joy riding I thought. Also, found that they threw away the little dust caps that go over the locking wheel nuts. F**ING ANNOYING.On these partiucular days, my opinions of them were very very low indeed!!!Also, had to take it back several times as steering was off centre.Really really bad point is also that they will set your car up even if the suspension is TOTALLY FOOKED. They will NOT check any of the rubber bushes or wheel bearings or steering rack for wear before asking for the £50 for setting the car up.Plus points are that for about £15, they will give you a report on the setup using their laser alignment doofer rig thing. But you have to ask for it, its not often that they offer it - not to me anyway.Jules

jcorallo 0
yeah - I think the managers put a lot of pressure on the little guys to get thinigs done as quickly as possible, esp when its busy like on a Saturday. So mistakes happen.I dunno - maybe I expected too much - when I took my car to be tracked/cambered, I'd thought that if they could see there was a problem, I'd get advised. I think its just a case of, they just dont diagnose problems, its not what they do, they just fit new parts (tyres, suspension, exhausts etc) and set suspension up. Nothing else. Fair dos I suppose. So its not a place to go if you have a problem with your car to start with. Furry muff.Jules
