mk4 r32 exhaust on a mk4 4 motion?

I've seen plenty of r32 exhausts for sale but not many 2.8 4 motions. Will one of these fit or will there be mods required apart from the rear apron?

i know the r32 cats are longer than the 4 mo so if you get an r32 cat back itl be short. im not sure if you can fit r32 cats to a 4 mo though and iv no idea if the backbox is a straight swap

ive been old they do fit, but you need to remove the toeing hook and make another hole in the valance.

well mines r32 as far as the cat and then it was 4 from there back it had to be shortened because the r32s cats ended further back

Hi

It does fit and is a resonably easy modification.

I bought an exhaust section to bridge the gap between the cat and the exhaust. I also bought a genuine R32 bumper to save me from having to cut the bumper.

The tow hook does have to be removed and the mechanic (my dad) had to fabricate an exhaust mount.

The flapper has been set to stay open too, it sounds great. Quiet when idling and just a little louder accelerating.

I'd thoroughly recommend it.
