lewlew 0
well.........i was on the way back from skeggy saterday nite and the car had no power at all, i then pulled off from a round about and the car started juddering, so i thought id drive it home slowly, then when i got to the top of my street there was a metal on metal scraping noise, and ive losst all power now, i tihnk it maybe the tappets seein as theyve been noisey and gradualy got worse, just wondering if anyone else has had that problem, i stripped the top end this morning and found out that 2 tappets are loose and can push them in and out by hand, but would that make the metal on metal noise or could it be something alot worse? krave 0
Just seen this post, to put a obd2 engine into a obd1 car all you have to do is swap the engine loom over and intake mani and tb. Unless your obd1 is dizy, in which case put your cam sprockets and set up into the obd2 engine. Not hard to do really!!
