wagvr6 0
when changing the air filter in my vr6 i noticed that there is a tapered black plastic pipe in the top of the airfilter housing , my question is, as this is tapered does it mean that it is restricting the amount of air being drawn through it???I used to ride motorbikes and they would often do a similar thing to restrict the power. So has any one done it and does it make any difference or am i talking complete bo+++cks! :? andy 0
It's a relatively common first mod to remove that 'snorkel'. I removed the one in my golf and it seemed very slightly more responsive.
