matty.vrt 120 Posted November 3, 2009 Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 hope some one can help ive just bought a spal fan and it comes with 2 wires but my standard fan has 3 wires so im not shure how to wire it up.any help would be graitly appriciated.my cars obd2 if it makes a differance. corraptor_evo 0 Posted December 30, 2009 Report Share Posted December 30, 2009 Yes, indeed, you have three wires: a (-) and two (+). Each + is for two different fan speed. I don't remember which is which, but you can try to find the wire with the bigger speed. Fix it and ... thats all. Link to post Share on other sites
matty.vrt 120 Posted December 30, 2009 Author Report Share Posted December 30, 2009 yeh i did this i had 3 wires not 4 their's two possitive and one negative.when the fan comes on its just single speed (fast) but works great couple of seconds and it turnes off job done extremely quiet.
