jcorallo 0
get a quote for Axle bushes - I'd be interested at knowing how much people charge to do it.Went up to my parents in Blackburn at weekend with the idea I was going to just replace the rear bushes - fook that - after looking at it I'll prob need new brake lines and flexi hoses if I undo any of that stuff round there - all looks very delicate. No time to do all that so was thinking of paying a garage to do it.Jules[ Edited Tue Feb 17 2004, 05:40PM ]

VR6Pete 1,455
155 + VAT for service.... and £35 for fitting extra (non servicable) filters and discs.... so not all that bad! im happy with the results and that they did a thourgough check.
binliner 0
Patrick, there'll be somewhere a lot closer to you than awesome who will do the same job... you'd practically pass AmD & Stealths front door to get there![ Edited Tue Feb 17 2004, 06:17PM ]
Guest couzens
I had mine serviced on Saturday; paid 160 quid for the parts and nothing for the labour. Mind you the ABS warning came on on Monday and has been going on and off since. ABS wheel sensor needs a clean, replacing or could it be the pump? What do you reckon??? patrick green 0
Im hoping to get to AMD soon for a re-chip & maybe a bigger TB so ill check out their service charges then & do the same on Sun at Stealth. Being new to owning a VR I used a local garage but I think they overcharged me! Convenience isn't always a good thing!
VR6Pete 1,455
I thought mine was the ABS sensor.... bcos it was only intermittant! but it's fubared!!! a chap that worked at AMD now works at Awsome GTI! he's doing all the APR stuff!
