dubslife 0
ok so i want to "compliment" my engine tone by adding something to my completly standard engine/exhaust,i want to put a 6 branch manifold on,basically if i do just this and still run my standard cat/middle section and back box will it do anything performance wise, and importantly will it sound better? without being to (chavy) and if so whats a good one to go for,and easy to heat wrap them or? soul-2-soul 3
Hi mate, Most people on here go for these ones off ebayhttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-MK3-VR6-2-8-2-9-NEW-STAINLESS-STEEL-MANIFOLD_W0QQitemZ400081742680QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item5d26baeb58I thought about putting one on until Stealth told me it would give me minimal performance gain. Does make the car sound better but I would personally go for an exhaust rather than manifold if I were only doing one of these.
CALICO 130
its a good starting point then as money allows do the rest. i dont like noisy exhausts so id do manifold 1st to aid better flow and i would heat wrap it
ingham 5
i dont see the point in a 6 branch its been tested and the cast standard manifold when ported can flow better
