Front wheel bering change

need to remove the hub from the car and put it in a hydraulic press and press the old ones out and new ones in. £70 would be 2 hours labour ish so if that's including parts it's not too bad. Unless you have hydraulic press not much luck of doing them yourself.

I know about the hammer and socket method, that's the way I use sometimes at work! Does no harm to the bearings with the right sockets.

I didn't want to say as I didn't know mechanical knowledge and didn't want anyone to start bashing it with hammer and sockets and end up getting it stuck or the bearings out with the outer casing stuck in the hub :D

But yea if you can do the hammer and socket way by all means cheapest to do and easily do-able on the drive with a spare afternoon! :)
