craggsy 91
Redline MT 90 is recommended by lots of people for the 02A gearbox. It is same spec as VW use
Jonnyboy82 0
So where do i top up the oil? And will this help the light crunching going into gear?
rodney 17
may help the crunch.. If your doing a change then you can slick50 the box which adds benefits on higher milers..The method to change is simple...car up in the air. Get on your back with a good light/torch and look for the most difficult area to access and you are in the right point. Undo bolt and fill.... Njoy...
craggsy 91
Undo the fill hole first in case it doesnt undo after you have emptied the box
Rikki 2
Yea was gonna say the same craggsy. Is the drain hole the vw badge under the box and the fill hole on the side. They take 2 litres by the way!
Matt W 4
Its a 17mm allen key for the drain and fill. The fill is on the "front" of the gearbox and the drain is underneath, they are both like very large grub screws!
