SankysVR6 1
As it's nearly Xmas !amazed i thought i'll get the VR a short shift. What i need to know is that will i be able to use the OE gear knob, as i don't want to change it as it's the wooden one. I know they don't go with the rest of the car but its what makes it highline in my opinion
Nerih 0
damn straight, the gear knob is amazing, i want to order another one becuase the varnish is coming off...and im getting splinters hehe.
VRVIRGIN 0
I would have thought you could use your original gear knob, could be very wrong here, but isn´t that short shift thing just a longer strip of metal which is hidden under the leather gaiter cover? vr6freak 3
sankysvr6 i think minty has a b&m one fitted to his vr. try him.
SankysVR6 1
i think Minty's got a neuspeed one he got it with car when he bought it.can't remember who it was
dubloke 4
i'm pretty sure the b&m shifters for the vr's come without a knob attached(no jokes please!) as some have integral knobs. minty's is indeed a neuspeed, but i'm sure someone on here has one fitted, just cant remember who! weighted shifters are aftermarket products for rod-change boxes on mk.1/2/3 as the vr already has its on version of the weighted shifter!
