swaper 0 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Share Posted January 4, 2010 I am not sure if anyone can help , but this is my problem :Sometimes, i can see the RPM needle not moving smoothly upwards and bacwards, but no matter if you increase rpm, the needle stays eg 2000 and after some seconds it jumbs to the normal eg 3000. At that time, when you release the pedal, the engine's rpm goes down, but not the needle ! ...The next day, everything works fine ! I think that something effects the movement of the needle and for sure is not the instument's plate...Sorry for my English Chris Link to post Share on other sites

Όπως Îνα μεταλλικό σωλήνα με Îνα πλαστικό κλιπ αισθητήÏα. ΣπÏÎι οÏισμÎνες WD40 για να βεβαιωθείτε ότι δεν είναι υγÏÏŒ στο εσωτεÏικό του.Θα μποÏοÏσε επίσης να είναι τα Ïολόγια. It was £25 from the dealer for a new one and you just take the clocks apart and replace it. It's quite a rare problem. Link to post Share on other sites

FishWick 21 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Share Posted January 26, 2010 Unless the engine is physically revving to those rpms, it can't really be anything else.Mine would stick at, say 4000rpm, when slowing down, so even when idling it was showing 4000 :-)It would also move slowly occasionally and stick at all sorts of random speeds.
