terrance_19 0
Hi guys as my project is at it's early stages and I'm in need of a gear box was wondering about running synchro gear as it would be easier now. Is any body running the gear in this club? What exactly will I need? And as it's used on left hookers will it cause probs with the exhaust system and other things?
J5KE F 0
Hi mate, are you just talking gear box or full syncro 4x4 running gear?I'm sure the syncro box is an o2a box but with a transfer box bolted to where the of side front drive would usually fit, an a shorter shaft in place. The engine and box are a universal fitment so dont vary. on the syncro the steering rack and master cylinder are obviously on the drivers side.hope thats useful.. terrance_19 0
Was looking at the full 4x4 running gear, I understand I'm gonna need a synchro boot floor to allow for the transfer box. But apart from that is there alot more work involved? And is the work worth the benefit? With the new boot floor is it pretty much a bolt up mod? Cheers

terrance_19 0
L5gvw's threads pretty impressive, made my project seem really easy. I've located a guy with the all the running gear for sale so parts ain't a prob, so what about getting it running on a regular vr6? Your quite a lucky fella owning a factory synchro!
