HXY 0
I agree with the NGK answer but what about the gapping, I have read alot about doing this to these plugs as they dont come pre-gapped maybe someone can clear it up? otherwise for pure ease of use Bosch or whatever the stealer supplies, there's alot of info on vw vortex regarding this i just dont have the link. but unless your running big power bosch etc should be fine, Cheers
bungy 2
Use NGK and from seeing first hand the damage they cause, not Bosch what ever setup. If they fail, they fail big style. Not worth the risk in my opinion.
dalevr6 0
NGK! Get some platinum ones! cost a bit more but they'll last a good 80,000 miles

Antihero1981 8
6 for 35 quid on ebay! i ordered mine
J5KE F 0
Anything other than bosch as by now they have easily cost club members the best part of 15k in repairs! I wouldn't even go with the cheapest eBay ones, just ask yourself how do you value your car..? Even on n/a I wouldn't risk it ever again.. Go to vw, get all the service parts u want and request a vr6oc 10% discount, flash ur membership card and jobs a good un'! Another quality result for your £15 a year!! goonersteve 0
I don't know the technical details (i'm someone else on here will explain), but they killed Gary's VR Turbo and Jake's 'charged mk2
Pearsy47 1
ah ok well it seems then its when you turbo or slap a charger on it then
GVK 1
You don't 'need' platinum tipped plugs, you can get away with the normal NGK BKR5E [if NA] plugs that are £3 eachI run them in mine, which reminds me, ought to put a new set in, current set have been in since 2007!Get them from your local motorfactors or http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/
