rodney 17
was once tought a daft rhyme. Toyo proxies are poxy unles they are t1r's (tyres)... Kinda stuck with them...F1s if you can find 'em are corking. Not always cheap. the 205 x15s with that speed rating are not a big industry sellers so there are not many good'uns around from a branding perspective...I currently have Michelin pilote exilte 205 zr15 x 50s and they seem to be ok for the last couple of years in all conditions... Delboy 0
Gonna sound like a stupid question but what difference would the size change have on the ride, comfort and will it throw my speedo reading out??
Ben Seabrook 4
that little change prob not a lot at all mate tbh have a look at some pics on here http://www.tyrestretch.com/index.php and it will give you an idea of how little difference there is - stick to the small wheel sizes at the top of the page
Delboy 0
thanks mate see what you mean, hardly anything in it!!!! Am i likely to notice much change in handling with the narrower tyres?

shail 0
I had some of those khumos on the front. Lasted 17k miles, and were cheap. I wouldn't buy them again. Started out ok, but after wearing down grip levels fell off quite badly. I replaced them last week with Hankook Evo V12 AT £60 a Corner from black circles. Grip is good, but haven't had a dry day since they were put on.Also had Toyo Proxes. Excellent dry grip, however tyre squeal at every opportunity, and lasted less than 8k on front!
