heater dials-not lit??

Developed a problem,heater lights( 3 dials in centre) stopped working,ive looked in manual and theres no specific fuse for that.any ideas??

The bulb has probably gone. You need to prise off the plastic surround around the dials. You'll see screws behind the surround. Remove the screws, there are also a couple behind the ashtray, so pull out the ashtray aswell.

Withdraw dials in one piece, there is only one bulb which you should be able to see buried round the back of the central dial.

They are little capless bulbs, any auto shop should have them

cut'n'paste of the instructions i used:

Prize out switch blanks carefully with wide blade

Slide out switches and disconnect from loom connectors

Slide diagnostics socket cover off

Carefully prize off heater control escutcheon plate

Remove 6No screws and withdraw switch carrier

Push heater controls into dash, down and forward

Bulb is in white carrier
