fuzzwaldo 1
i spoke to someone at hid.com today who said he would be able to find some full beam bulbs near the same colour as the hid ones i was looking at. just don't to have a nice white on dip then a horrible yellow on full. jamiej 0
Evenin' all, I have fitted my HIDs (just for dipped beam) look AMAZING, so so pleased. However, I have uncovered a problem. I can now see that my drivers side headlight is in pretty bad shape and does not look at all as good as the passengers, its filthy and stone chipped etc etc. My query now is the best (most effective) replacement. Im not too keen on going for the £70 Hella replacement so can anyone recommend another brand, either GSF or ECP Astrum jobbies as a reasonable replacement. Also my car has the headlight level adjustment, im assuming that these replacements wont cater for this. Thanks guys, look forward to your response.Jame
Lukey. 381
oh sorry my bad i thought lights were on cars for a purpose not for showAnd HID main beams would basically be for show.....All im saying is dip HIDs and normal full beams will be quite adequate for any situations you would encounter, and as the poster said it was because of the yellow lens with a normal bulb i was stating the obvious that no one is hardly going to see his full beams on, as (apart from flashing someone, which you shouldnt be flashing HIDs much anyway as it will shorten their useful life) you only use them when no one is within a fair distance of the front of your car your car. So why waste the money for something that isnt going to give you that much benefit, I did high+dip and my opinion is the light over dip+normal mains is not worth spending double the money.and to the previous poster, you can buy aftermarket headlights that cater for the electronis adjustment. Its wise to get lights that have projector lenses in them as they can control the beam better than reflector lenses.
