joules 0
Looked at various setups. Have been looking at black diamond disks and predator pads + braided hoses.I like the 15's buit not sure they will give enough traction...Not heard of 312's fitting under a 15" rim always thought min was 17" - sounds interesting. FishWick 21
I use AP Racing 4 pots with 330mm discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads, which to me feels spot on for the car's weight and power.I've done the 288s and 312s and they just fade and warp. It's common sense folks..... if you double the engine power, then you should double the braking power too :-)If you defo want 15s, then AP Racing 4 pots (CP5200 caliper) with AP 304mm discs fit under a Comp MO, ET30. Nex 17
Yeah but would they be of the same quality as Stealth's one? thats why l am waiting to see
spadam 7
Is there many available for the v6 4motion tho. I no theres a few for the r32?
FishWick 21
JBS Auto Designs do a stage 1 380hp non-intercooled 24V T kit for £7200 and Stage 2 (intercooler + remap to 440hp) for an additional £3300!!So basically, £10.5K for 440hp, because no one in their right mind would run a 24V turbo with no intercooler, especially with that fragile plastic inlet. And that, imo, is a complete rip off.Stealth I'm confident will undercut quite a lot, and still offer the same, if not better peformance, quality and reliability. matty.vrt 120
i bought and turbo'd my golf for 3000 and got 570 bhp and that was using a brand new gt3582r soi havent cut any corners.

matty.vrt 120
im just saying how dare they charge 10.5 grand what a rip off.

deanpompey 0
I was originally going to buy a VR corrado over a G60 purely to supercharge the VR. then i saw the threads on here about stealths kit, and also the vids on youtube... Im now ognna be going turbo! Just waiting for the annual payrise and end of year bonus and i will be on the phone booking her in!Cannot wait to get this kit fitted!
gavinvr6 0
and stealth would be a great place to get it done. i've never dealt with em but most people on here rave about vince and his magic so thats reveiw enough for me
craggsy 91
I wouldnt pay what JBS charge even tho I have a JBS built car lol
deanpompey 0
that does seem like a pretty outrageous price to me.... however £4400 fitted from stealth to turn my rado into a 360bhp monster??? BARGAIN of the bloody century!
FishWick 21
And 360hp is just the start... it can do well in the 400s :-) The only thing holding these VRTs back is traction and gearbox strength. The engines can put out some crazy power :-)
deanpompey 0
360 will be enough for me tbh. gonna have the box rebuilt with vr/g60 ratios thrown in there to beef up the acceleration, and keep things kinda simple. vince ill be firing you a pm soon re the conversion and some ideas/questions i have.
FishWick 21
I have the G60 final drive in mine and it does accelerate more aggressively than a couple of other VRTs I've tried with standard gearing :-)
