bungy 2
I've now got one damaged mirror due to some ignorant tw*t and have been looking at this for a little while. I know it can be done but was wondering if anyone else had done it before and had any photo's along with any pointers on how to do?
bungy 2
I've now found all the information I need and found the correct shaped mirrors that are VW items and slightly smaller than the R32 ones. I'll put a "how to" together once they are painted and on. Photo's to follow.

VeedubVR 0
lupo mirrors are stubbies. mk6 polo mirrors are alot bigger. I think mk4 polo, mk3 ibiza and lupo mirrors are similar
bungy 2
There are stubbies (with passenger side smaller than drivers), Polo 6N2, R32 and then mkiv Golf in that size order.
bungy 2
Picked up my stubby mirrors and have even managed to get the ultra rare drivers side stubby aswell, full electrics including heated glass. I'm not going to put them on until i've got them painted.
bungy 2
Dropped the covers off to be painted which will be ready for tomorrow, so hopefully all fitted and sorted tomorrow afternoon.
Rikki 2
Not really ultra rare most lupo's had them both sides and alot of the mk5 polo's too! You can use them with your existing bases and wiring !!
bungy 2
Not really ultra rare most lupo's had them both sides and alot of the mk5 polo's too! You can use them with your existing bases and wiring !!The stubbies had a small passenger and slightly larger drivers side mirror. To match both at the passenger small side size you have to have a passenger stubby from a left hooker, and then the angle on the mirror case isn't right. To get 2 small stubbies, electric and at the right angles is difficult and rare.
Rikki 2
Oh you mean the LHD drivers (uk passengers) so they are at the same angle....sorry i see what you mean now i would like the same for my 3.5 stubbies as it really annoys me the way 1 sits and looks nice and 1....well doesnt lol! bungy 2
Yes sorry if I didn't make myself clear....both are the smaller size and at the right angles.
