removing a mk3 dash?

i have tried takin bolts from here there and pretty much everywere , anyone got any idea or a how to? thanks

were have you taken screws from so far

Yep buddy... have you not taken the scuttle pannel out and loosend off the two bolts in the engine bay side ? Without those it won't budge a bit !!! ....

been taking the screewsfrom in the door shuts , and the little screws all around on the bottom of dash and also the two that are under the centre consoleon passenger side, were are the bolts in the engine bay?

you need to take the wipers off there under there 10 mm x 2

I may be mistken actually from memory there are to welded bolts that the dash locates onto and they have soem sort of star screw fixing they are very large ... but you have to of reomved the heather and other parts to get o them !

i took mine off the other day to replace the heater matrix if you just want the dash out its a row of 8 mm bolts all along the bottom edge off dash and screws behind all the bits of pop off dash blanking bits and under the scuttle panel you take off the wiper motor to get to one 10mm bolt and next to the cabin filter another one if you need to take out the frame behind the dash ie: for h/matrix its the two star bolts either side in door shuts ther are bolts behind the heat sheild on the bulk head by the down pipe if you want to talk to me about it you can call me on 02380320080

ahhhh thanks guys , im doing a heater matrix myself itook thebig star bolts out idunno how to disconnect the heater controls though, rightwhenits light tomoro ill try those bolts on the scuttle panel, i heardthatthe heater matrix isa tw*t ofa job,sooooooo true!! how long did it takeu vr6stormt
