bumblebee 0 Posted March 11, 2010 Report Share Posted March 11, 2010 hi all ,ive got a strange fault on my mk3 vr6 r reg it is that central locking wont open with key (windows do)i have to lean in and put ignition on then i can pull knob up and it will open and shut all day if ipull knob up and down, by the way key does turn fully and knob does go up but even if i try to lift it it still wont trigger central locking it like it has deadlocking ?as when i pull it it has resistance against me and feels like it just wants to stay locked ,but i thought that locking trigger would be the same as window trigger (which works spot on) any ideas ? thanks in advance Link to post Share on other sites
Rikki 2 Posted March 11, 2010 Report Share Posted March 11, 2010 Its a pneumatic system so more then likely one of the vacuum pipes have perished check inside the drivers door. Also check the pump. Its n the boot under the drivers taillight! Link to post Share on other sites
