theblueflash 0 Posted March 12, 2010 Report Share Posted March 12, 2010 ok so the 1st jobs that are out of my hands are under way and the car is in the shop next week for some much needed tlc.so to get rid of the minor rust on the arches and prevent any further problems the rear quarters are being resprayed. if you lift the seal on the tailgate there is 'brown cancer' showing. nothing serious but obviously will need looking at in the future. should i assume that the rear windows will be the same??i want to know if its worthwhile ordering some new rear window seals and having a window out job???cheers Link to post Share on other sites
Lukey. 381 Posted March 13, 2010 Report Share Posted March 13, 2010 i have just done this and the window removal men said you cant get a seal seperate from the window, all parts suppliers said the same thing too. If you check my surgery thread in projects you can see that i only had a little showing but a few big spots were fully hidden under the window and seal Link to post Share on other sites
