terrorste 0
Yea I dont really want to spend more than 180 fitted for 2 so no R888's for me
craggsy 91
Pirelli pzeros i have have been fantastic
Dazdub 0
I would go for the Toyo T1-R but they are a bit pricey i think. P zeros are also very good tyres. Ive got Falken 452's at the moment. As the Goth said mate check out prices and that should help with the descision
thegoth 5
black circles have the T1-Rs (ina 15" ) for £50. Their P6000s are £

terrorste 0
Yes but thats not fitted. I need someone moblie or local to me. the tire size i'm after is 205 50 15.The price aint so much of an issue i just want a good road tire with amazing grip in the dry and wet. i dont know what manufacturers to belive they all sound better than each other! golfrabbit33 0
thats the exact size i got, get a local garage to chuck em on for a few quid.
terrorste 0
i'm tempted but are they practical enough for road use? like i'm driving to tenby its a 4 hour drive so dont want much noise and them to be a nice smooth ride.
golfrabbit33 0
it depends how you drive, if you want the best grip in corners the r888`s, if you want long lasting quiet tyres then one of your other choices. grip or value ? up to you
terrorste 0
i'd have to with value, i doubt my girl would be happy me spending 170 on some tires that will last me 6 months. already stressing at me that i need new ones after 9 months lol they are rubbish arrowspeed ones. I got conned by quickfit but no this time!

Ben Seabrook 4
I defo wouldn't run 888's as a daily tyre matey - I have the T1R's and they are great inmo, and from Camskill are pretty reasonable - £47 a corner iirc
Lukey. 381
T1R is the high performance tyre and CF1 is the family hatchback/rep saloon tyreT1R for me all the way, having said that ive got Yoko Parada Spec 2 and they are pretty good
Rikki 2
888's are like ice in the wet....deffo no no for a daily. t1r are a great tyre ok for wear and great grip. i run kunho ku31 cant rate them enough....great cheap tyrehttp://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m53b0s93p0

Dragon Dave 1
I have not tried Toyo's but I have tried Pirelli P6000's. The Pirelli's were excellent grip but didn't last very long. I tested the grip to the limit, so I was expecting to use them quickly and I was shocked at how fast I went through them.A friend of mine owns a tire garage and he suggested I use BF Goodrich G-Force Profiler. He says they are just as grippy, they will last at least twice as long and they cost the same. They have a nice looking tread too.The cheapest place I found to get tires is www.mytyres.co.ukOrder them over the net and then pay a garage to do fitting and balancing. When I asked my friend (who owns a tire garage) if he could fit the tires if I get them from the 'net, he said that he could match the price I got from the 'net. Knightrider 1
Agree with Rikki's link. I've found Camskill to be the cheapest, certainly for Toyos. Got 205/5015 Proxies T1-R and they are great - quiet, grippy and lasting OK. I've put mine at VW recomended pressure, which seems very high, 38 psi F and 34 psi R. Stops the wall flex and stops them knocking out the edges, which they seem a bit prone to.For fitting, find a small, local independant and plead poverty!
Lukey. 381
front end pressure will be high cos of the weight of the engine
RAPgolfvr6182 2
ive got parada spec 2 tyres have to drop tyre size to 195/50/15 though to get them as they dont do them in 205 got them from derby 55 quid each fitted
