Lukey. 381
you need a special ending tool which i didnt have and a mate did for me, other than that its a piece of cake really, i didnt have a special bender or anything just did it by hand to match what came off the car, i think the unions were just the standard size, because i cut them from before the rear arm i did have to washer the new lines out so they sat in their little brackets nice and securely, when you are under your car you should see what i mean
spadam 7
Ok cheers. I assume paul has a flaring tool as he said he could do new pipes if nessecary so i have now brought the pipe and unions.
Lukey. 381
good luck with that then, its not hard just a bit fiddly.
bungy 2
To get nice radius on your bends form them round a pipe or something similar and use the old ones as a template. Here are some I made for another car.
spadam 7
Ok il give it a go. Going to be doin it friday with paul. Hopefully all goes well.
bungy 2
The easiest way to do them is to measure the length carefully and get your local auto-factors to make the ends and then bend them yourself by hand. I'm sure yourself and Paul will do a top job.
spadam 7
Ive brought 25ft of Brake pipe with 10 male unions and 10 female unions sure paul said he had the tool to flare the ends. After the calipers are sorted its time to polybush the wishbones then the rear axle all ready for the ring next year.

spadam 7
Getting a lot of mayo under my oil filler cap again. Only had headgasket done 20k miles ago. Losing intrest in this car now spent so much on it its a never ending battle may have to buy something newer after christmas.
bungy 2
You are always loosing interest, give it a chance. The joys of owning an older car balance the scales at cheap purchase price but continuous care and maintenance. The more performance we chase the more maintenance that comes with it. If you are only doing short journeys or it is sat for periods then you may see some moisture in your oil / exhaust smoke. Come on Adam after all your efforts it is turning a corner. spadam 7
Yea i understand what u are saying mark. Cost of finance each month would be more thn maintenance each month. I like the car as there not seen. Often but feels like a constant money pit recently and just before christmas lol
bungy 2
After all the work you've done it's a credit to you and anyone can keep a new car up to scratch but keeping older cars going and in good condition takes effort.
