Going to change the rear beam bushes. Do i just get oem bushes to replace them with or do i shell out the extra cash and buy polybushes. Does it make much diffrence on the rear beam.

Im getting polybushes for my wishbones but is it worth it for the rear beam.

Rear beam oem bushes = £15.99

Rear beam polybushes = £58.99

Polybushes last 7 times longer than rubber and give more direct control. Easier to fit aswell.

So it would be worth spending the extra then. Il get them ordered along with wishbones bushes ready to be fitted over christmas.

No contest between rubber and polyeurethane unless you are running comp engine mounts and then some find the car a bit vibey.

Parts are being ordered monday for the christmas period. Got the following to order:

Rear beam polybushes

Wishbones polybushes

Rear disks

Rear pads

Rear bearings.

Should all be fitted by the new year.

Could u let me know how u get on with the poly-bushes as I have heard the fronts are a pig to fit?

Well i have ordered all my parts required for christmas time hopefully they get here in time and i can get them fitted over christmas.

Im well happy. People have been moaning that insurance is going up etc. So as ive been thinking about a supercharger lately thought i better get a quote as im only 22.

Well Sky insurance came back and offered me £1150 fully comp 300BHP limit. Cheap Cheap me thinks

Loving the car mate. sorry i didnt speak much at the meet! im thinking i need to ring them now! i managed to get mine down to 980 3ync 21 years old with alloys and induction. still think i can get it cheaper somewhere! i have a few days until i cant get a refund.

No worries mate. I just need to source all the parts now. There a lot i want to do now including a bebuilt gearbox with G60 final drive.

nice i have quite a few things coming up but unfortunately its more maintenance than modifying just when i get a bit of spare cash the vr suddenly demands new chains lol

Yea will do off to pauls on the 28th then got head spacer and arps coming in jan on the lookout for a wideband lamba sensor and afr gauge, boost gauge, and 1 more gauge not sure which yet tho.
