sadken 0 Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 I had a service 6 months ago which included an oil and filter change.I checked the oil today and it is at the bottom of the 'safe' range. Would the Castrol High Mileage oil they sell in Wilkinsons be ok to top it up with? Link to post Share on other sites
CALICO 130 Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 synta silver if you like your engine i cant see any reason to buy an oil for a high mileage car if there is wear in your engine the oil wont fix it buy a decent grade of oil recommended for your car depends how many miles you have done in the 6 months but why not give it another service i change mine every 6000 miles or 6 months anyway Link to post Share on other sites
