MrBen 0
I've got to recommend Brentacre. I've been with them for a few years now, and as an Insurance Professional myself, I've been very impressed with both their Insurance knowledge, and their VW knowledge! For example, when I switched my policy over to the VR, as soon as I mentioned the Schrick VSR manifold, John knew exactly what I meant, whereas when I was getting a quote from HIC, their employee asked me 'What's a manifold'....!!HIC actually came up with a good quote on TPFT (about £400), but on Comp were over £1,000, compared to Brentacre's £650! Eat this 2
how much extra dya pay for schrick exhuast etc etc
MrBen 0
how much extra dya pay for schrick exhuast etc etcAs I bought the car as it is, I didn't have a quote without the current mods, but I'm only paying about £130 more than the renewal quote on the GTI, so that can't be bad! I also asked how much I'd be looking at if, for example, I put on a Supercharger, and for me it would be about another £100 for up to 275bhp (currently covered up to 210bhp). Slim 0
Just took out a policy with HIC 2 minutes ago. 22 years old with 4 years NCB and 4 points and a £300 fine for a SP30, modifications all declared to the value of £1000. £855 fully comp. Happy with that.Tell them you saw their advert on the Matey Matey site, and you're a member of the VR6 Owner's Club, you go to GTi International and get PVW through the post for a hefty discount. stu h 0
that sounds quite a good price slim, gonna ring them in a bit see if they can do anything for me.I was told by greenlight before xmas that I didnt qualify - and a few other co's that specialise in performance didnt give me anything competitive - do you reckon that its because the car is standard??seems a bit mad but brentacre had to give me a quote with a couple of simple mods to get a reasonable quote?where do you stand saying that you have things like an induction kit and bigger wheels if you dont actually have them on the car?
