VR6Gill 1
People,I need help please.I believe my crankshaft oil breather has broken and i need to get a new one.I have read past posts and noticed people refer to a Ford equivalent with the following Ford part no. 7364573.I have just spoken to Ford and they do not recognise the part number. Can anyone help?
Damo 85 0
In that case I would just ask them for a crankcase breather from a galaxy V6.... same engine!

VR6Nat 9
I think VW are now selling them around the same price... it used to work out cheaper as VW would only sell the unit as a whole with bits you didnt need costing over £70, but now they sell the crankcase breather separately so its about 20 odd pounds... VR6Gill 1
Thanks for the info will get myself to VW this weekend.Does anyone know if a broken breather will have caused my VR to start missing? It's going in for a full service tomorrow and also having the fuel pump changed so hopefully it will stop missing. VR6Nat 9
It wont be the breather causing that, it will be either your plugs, leads or coilpack (if you have one) If you still have this problem send me a pm and ill try and help you.
