Damo 85 0
Did anyone else find the opening race a little.. dare i say it.. dull? I'm an avid follower of the F1 circuit but the first race left me feeling a little disheartened...On paper the new rule changes sounded pretty good. shake things up a bit, change the race tactics from previous years. But all it seemed to just be a bit of a procession.... And to add insult to injury there is speculation that as drivers have to start on the tyres used in Q3, some teams may opt to get into Q3 (top ten) and not even take part in the final 10 minutes, giving them choices on tyre compound. Added to that the cars look sooo slow and most drivers have said they were reluctant to drive aggressivley for fear of running out of fuel!!!!Admittedly Vettel had a painful last few laps, and alonso put in a hell of a performance once in front... but im still not convinced... your thoughts? VR6Nat 9
its gay.. lac lustre.. boring... uninspiring... bring back the days of Mansel... as a young girl i found F1 exciting, now i think of it as a posh mans procession... waste of time, money and talent... watch World Superbikes & supersport... now thats what racing is about... clashing fairings, daring overtakes and you can never guess who's gonna win. i wouldnt waste another hour of my life on F1 again.. shame.... thegoth 5
agree totally. Hopefully the fuel worries came from limited running and the new untried track layout.

[/quote']i agree apart from the bit about being a young girl lol, Id rather watch touring cars, moto cross, wsb british super bikesI love rallycross. so much fun n excitment. f1 wants to bring bck the early 1990's with big turbo charged engines. they only got stoped cause of safety concerns but its much safier now
rodney 17
why did no one go for a 4 stop sprint???
craggsy 91
I think that once the teams sus out what to do then it will be so much better...........plus the track didnt help as for me it isnt a good track for overtaking on
spadam 7
Yea track was very tight and technical and with all that weight in the cars now was a little boring as no one seemed daring enough. I do love watching BTCC its so much more competitive and you never no who will win each race.
