MattDilley 0
Ive recently bought a set of 2nd hand ARP bolts.Should they have ARP stamped on them anywhere? Also they dont look any different to the standard 1's? All the pics on the net of them are of a threaded rod with a nut, not a bolt??Can anyone shed any light on this for me??Matt

matty.vrt 120
yep i wouldent waste money on arp's unless your building a full bottom end with forged rods and pistons. and seeking over 600 bhp
AJmk2 2
Its fair enough , the standard bolts probabaly wont fail , I just see it as when putting so much money into the car may as well spend that little bit extra.
CALICO 130
the price of headbolts maybe cheaper but the price of headgaskets and the amount of time having the car of the road is it worth the saving on the bolts i dont think so
The Monk 50
Dont follow you on that one Roger. Why would HG and time off road have anythng to do wth ARP's ?
matty.vrt 120
You dont hafto buy them just because they make them. Also who is spending loads of money on gaskets and being off the road coz im not.
