jims13 6
highlines have a higher insurance premium, and for that you get wooden steering wheel, wooden knob, centre console with holder, black a,b and c pillar trims. and leather doors cards with courtesy lights, it will also say highline on the log bookand they only come in two colors, the vary rare mulbery and super rare black magic. binliner 0
You'll find non highlines with leather and aircon as well and all late VR6s had colour coded bumpers, door strips and non plastic archesbtw they didnt come with wooden steering wheels as standard

thesharkfactor 0
i just stripped out a highline interior yesterday, and put it in a std vr6....now got a white vr with mulberry leather (dynamite combo!)anyhow.. i noticed another difference- as anal as it it is- but never mentioned before!door handles (on the interior door cards) on a highline are constructed of 3 peices. a normal vr6 the door handles are 2 piece.why? dunno!.. but they is!.. i left the 3piece ones on the highline- the 2peice ones were in better nik .. (this applies to 4dr- cannot confirm if 2dr is the same!)another minor difference- the highline ive got (95 5dr) has a passenger airbag and parcel shalf below. my 95 vr6 non high, has passenger airbag with a glove box below!oh.. and another- very controversial- just an observation ive made and confirmed time again with myself over the years...ive owned at least 10 non highlines, and 7 or 8 highlines. (im motor dealer and vr6 is an old favourite of mine!) in the last few years.. non highlines are faster.thats right.. the highline feels heavier, like a bmw, the non highline feels light like a go kart. the non highline model wheel spins easliy with lots of torque low down,.. you have to push a highline to make it go, and when it does, it dont go like a non highline! i dont know why, but every single one ive driven is the same!.. it is like the difference between a 8v gti and a 16v gti, the 8v has shreds moe low down torque and a light go kart feel (to 40 odd mph).. the 16v needs a push to get going, but when it does you get alittle more.. similar to the highline and nonhighline.. only, you get the same, but the non highline needs less encouragement..so if you want best of both- you need a non highline, with highline interior- just like ive done!)anyone else notice this (or these) difference(s) between the 2 cars?
