gavinvr6 0
without chucking on vag-com mate you could be picking loads of different potential prob's. most likely is the maf or isv. take both off and clean, taking care to be very very carefull with the maf, spray clean it with contact cleaner do not attempt to rub the wires with anything, also try cleaning the isv with a similar product then take it for a spin and see how oit goes, if that dont work get it on vag com
spudvr6 0
Got a spare maf and I think I found the problem. I have got a pipercross airfilter that kept coming off, now secured it properly. The idle sticks around 900rpm for about 10secs then drops to 750.Going to change maf and give the throttle boddy a proper clean to see if that helps. Thanks for all the replys guys you have all been very helpfull.Nice one Pete.
