28v6r 0
I hate to say this guys, but on a run up from London where the car came from, My Estate returns around 34-35 mpg @ 80 - 90mph, I had trouble believing this until I did the mileage calcs and it's true!!! In and around town I've managed anywhere between 24-27mpg and peeps, here's the kicker.... My car is an Estate!!!!I haven't even tampered around yet with the fuel and a serviced the car yet!!!I'd like to know more of what people get per gallon, not that I'm complaining just interested..Oh! and I don't use Optimax, just plain ol' unleaded.Opinions please....Regards28v6r
Tristinh 0
Mine does about 24 about town less if I give it some. Motorway is abot 27-31. I did manage to get 45mpg by zeroing the mfa at 80mph and sticking to it for about 10 miles though.

1990 1
I got 31 most of the way back from stealth, i normally get 24 around town once it warms up.
binliner 0
mines normally on 24 but got 33 coming back from stealth
Glyn Mk3 0
Mine is 18-24 around town, 28-34 on long trips depending on if I keep my speed steady. If I stay at around 80mph for an hour I get about 32 mpg. Have to say, I had to fill up with normal unleaded instead of optimax the other day, first time since I got the car in sep. My fuel economy has now increased, so I think I'm going to stop using Optimax for a while to see if my economy remains better.
Macca 1
Mine is 28-29 mpg at motorway cruising. My friend swore he got much better fuel economy with Optimax, but a tank of normal unleaded seems to go further by my reckoning.
VR6Steve 0
Typical low speed town driving produces 18-22 mpg. The 200 mile round trip to Stealth was just under 30 mpg as something like a 62mph average. (Big mistake stopping at the services to have a burger on the way home, the traffic was appalling when we left)
