ibiza vr6 0 Posted May 7, 2010 Report Share Posted May 7, 2010 is there any one who nos about 2.8 vr6 engines as iv put new chains tensioners and guides on and when a put top cover and tensioner the is no slack and when i turn it buy hand it gos slack on top then tight ? is this untill the top tensioner is full off oil the bottom is mint helppppp Link to post Share on other sites

ibiza vr6 0 Posted May 7, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 7, 2010 yea i put that in before i turned it over by hand when i put it togther it was tight the slak was at the tensioner side its when i turned it by hand it showed slack at places then gos tight as it tuns to the tensioner will it go tight as the tensioner fills with oil ???
