993turbo 0
One of the seals are leaking on my gearbox. Its the seal inside the output flange to the driveshaft. Is this a big deal to change? Does the output flange come out if I take of the driveshaft? Any info? its a 93' std. VR6 manual box.
The Monk 50
Do you mean the "cup" that the driveshaft bolts onto?If so, you can remove the 6 x M8 bolts, remove the driveshaft and then carefully using a prybar, wedge the cup out.Just make sure you don't get dirt of grit into the transmission or the cup shaft. Put the cup in an old unused tshirt or some blue paper cloth. The seal will be on the back of the cup or depending on force used, sat around the rim of the hole the cup shaft goes into. Replace the seal, stick the cup back in and use a rubber mallet or a piece of wood and a normal hammer. Tap it in and rebolt the driveshaft on.

993turbo 0
Basically, I wanna remove #12 to get access to #11 in the picture. Does number #12, the output flange, simply pull out?
The Monk 50
It doesn't just pull out. Requires a bit of persuasion lol.Just follow what I said in my 1st post and it will be a goodun.
