adam_christie 0
Woke up this morning and looked out onto my drive to see my Golf with all its windows open and the doors unlocked! It obviously did it by itself, but how?!I was a little shocked to say the least! What could be the fault?

adam_christie 0
Nope, got no fob, although there used to be a full closure alarm system but the fobs were long lost. I'm talking about 4 years ago by the previous owner. The control unit and all wiring needs removing really but it's a case of having the time etc!

Saunders82 0
If your only locking by the key and not a fob. You might be having a issue with the paddel and spring mechanism behind the barrel getting stuck. I would take the door handle off and have a look or atleast grease the lot. If the paddel has snapped or wedged it self with the Lock in the open position all the locks will open even if the spring returns the barrel into position.
