gwillhulk 0 Posted May 31, 2010 Report Share Posted May 31, 2010 Basicaly, yesterday I started to replace the seals on my oil cooler but come across another problem because some Garage decided to boge the repair instead of replacing it...pffftThe plastic water cooling pipe has been broken at some point and the used glue and sealent tp fix it, so i'm now looking to buy a new coolent pipe. Does anyone know if VW sells these as its the only bit I need... Link to post Share on other sites

Decided to replace the whole thermo (inc.all plastic's) set as when I took it all off the thermo-stat was a bit buggerd lol.anyway no leaks, crackes and all done right with no bodging... I know what your saying but it aint, I bought the two new o-rings for the oil cooler and put this way i'm the over engineering type person I always like to make sure the job is done right. so I used red sealent to make sure it will never leak again< and guess what so far it aint lol....
