So today I managed to get stuck in with fitting the rest of the interior, Front door cards all fitted with new door card clips, Next up was to remove the existing dashboard To make way for this,

As some members already are aware I had a very special interior lined up which I collected on Friday. I took the long drive up to Dunfermline to pick this cargo up which ended up in a 1200 mile round

Just to keep this alive, not many updates to speak of other than it's running superb, Attended ultimate dubs back in March and took the trip over to Dubshed in April, here's a few pics from the past

it did clean up ok, but i couldn't hack the scratches left underneath where the arches used to be so i had the wings and rear panels painted. varies from car to car to be honest..

cornish - you may get away with it, take em off and have a look. see what they are like underneath. if they are bad, put them back on.. if they are ok leave em off.. ?

Well last week i met up with George (geo7087) for a quick chat and to collect the ITG foam air filter i purchased from him,

its similar to the pipercross filter i was running but i think it looks a bit better in the bay and also performs much better than the pipercross,

Also got a few other parts fitted today, The polished upper strut brace, forge polished pas cap, polished strut top covers and the alloy header tank, Not all the parts are new but are in good condition and will give them all a good clean in time,

Just need to hide the wires away around the struts in some black flexi conduct next which will make them a bit easier on the eye i hope. and finish the mk4 battery box which now fits in place i just need to extend one of the negative leads so it reaches into the new box.

Well last weekend myself and lottie took the trip up to Gloucester to meet fellow members and good friends Sal and Martin, Not just a social visit but the vr needed some special TLC,

Im pleased to say Tony did the mileage and all the top work rather than sending it to a local vw specialist and what a very good job he did,

Recon head, valve stem oil seals, gasket set, New plugs, Thermostat housing (cheers martin for the spare part on hand) Dubpower low temp thermostat, fresh oil, Oh and had some shiny parts fitted at the same time,
