jaysVR6 2
Finally took some pics of my seats today, i'm gonna get the back struts on the subframes cut down and welded as they aren't height adjustable (they cost £200 each!!) they are just slightly too high for me. Plus some of my engine, don't know why, its no different to anyone elses!

jaysVR6 2
Cheers guys. They where easy to fit. You have to buy the runners from Recaro, £100 a side. Problem is as I said they aren't height adjustable and I found they sit slightly too high for me. There is some adjustment, three small holes to move them slightly but they are still too high for me.They cost me £400 for the seats and £200 for the runners. They are so comfortable, and they smell lovely! I asked MJ interiors how much to do the rears and cards he quoted £500. I'd rather a straight through stainless first! Valver 0
Very nice mate - just one question, could you not have used Mk3 subframes and welded them to the seats?....
jaysVR6 2
I did try and get that done. But VR6 seats have a weird subframe construction. The frames are welded in the middle of the seats and they just wont weld on to the bottom of Recaros like mine as there is nothing to weld to. So the solution to just buying Recaros and having the subframes welded on is a bit of a myth. If someone has had it done i'd like to know cos it cost me 200 notes!!!
antera309 3
There is a set of 3-door mk3 Leather door cards (on their own) on ebay right now.You might want to take a look: CLICK HERE!

I'd rather a straight through stainless first!MJ Interiors do some great work' date=' but their prices are crayyyyyzeeeeeee. It will be more cost-effective for you to buy a complete black leather interior off ebay, then sell off the front seats on their own.[ Edited Sat Jan 15 2005, 05:27PM ']

jaysVR6 2
Thanks mate, problem is the leather is completley different black and a different texture. It just wont match up. I'll have to get mine covered to look right.
