im getting the bits for my oil cooler together

gonna be keeping the OE heat exchanger to help warm the oil on start-up

as im keeping it will i need the alloy end cap or can i keep the stock one?

only ask cos ive heard if youre binning the OE HE you have to use the alloy end cap but as im keeping it can i use the stock one?

You keep the OE ally cap and fit one of these - http://www.dgautotech.com/dgauto/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=100&Itemid=87

if you can't seperate the cap from the existing tube (seems that some are one peice), you will need a cap from thinkauto.com aswell.

If your keeping the heat exchanger fit a new one, they're pretty prone to failing

has anyone got a part number for the ali end cap? cant find one on thinkauto

also with the new cooler fitted what will the oil capacity go up to?

what way around does the extension tube go? as ive read this is critical and if wrong can cause terminal problems
