AJmk2 2
Doesnt it get annoying just wheel spinning all the time? I say this because i recently went out in a friends 4wd pulsar and its amazing how it can just plant all the power down. I struggle occasionally and im just N/A , so is it really worth it going fi with 2wd or better to just sell up and get a syncro.

golfrabbit33 0
4wd class will see you running against the 10 second mob, fwd you will have a chance every time you race to be fastest. and controlling the throttle and holding back are not the same thing. a pulsar will be with you til 70-80mph then a vrt will leave for dust ! i know this for a fact !!! matty.vrt 120
Ive never had any traction issues with decent tyres on an n/a vr6. like garry said 4wd is ok till you get to 80 then 2wd says bye bye.
golfrabbit33 0
every time
AJmk2 2
Yea I know you will be running against 10 second cars but there are always faster cars , more about the driveability for road and track.
FishWick 21
Ask Vince at Stealth how good this is on VRTs :-) - http://www.racelogic.co.uk/?show=Traction_Control
AJmk2 2
Looks interesting but its cheating! bit off topic but how are you making 392 hp on just 11 psi?
FishWick 21
LOL, so is 4WD :-)Seriously though, I know what you mean. There's a sense of achievement and satisfaction from getting good traction from old fashioned methods! On the power, that's what it put down at a Stealth Rolling road day a few years ago, so could be optimistic as many people seem to think Stealth's rollers are ;-) I was expecting around 350, so just short of 400 was a brucey bonus. TBH it feels 400 quick on the road, so I guess it can't be far off that. Why one VRT would make more power than another from the same boost is down to a few things..... turbo sizing, head flow (I have a big valve head), cams, mapping, general engine condition etc etc. Most well mapped VRTs with a GT35R make 400 to the wheels with 1 bar boost. Mine does 350 to the wheels with 11 -12 psi, so it's in the right ball park :-)
matty.vrt 120
I ran mine at 7psi with the same turbo and it made 300bhp so 11psi 390bhp is about right.
AJmk2 2
Yea must be the cams and head combination as the 24vs also make a lot more power.Looks like il be looking out for syncro
MaidenVR6 26
Get a Wavetrack,Peloquin or Quaife lsd diff, new Polyurethane bushings and some decent tires. You will get better noticeable grip.http://www.garaget.org/video/jyaa7i3kho6u
