craggsy 91
I cant understand why you would have them there, surely takes more boost to get any power from that as gasses have to go soooo much further. Or have I got the idea all wrong. Also he said 5lbs of boost...as in 5psi...from twin turbos
dman78 1
sounds the nutttts, could this be done on a mk3?
xyber 1
I've seen it a few times now, they do a similar setup on the Caddy CTSV. I'd call it a last resort if you really wanted to fit turbos that much. Imagine the plumbing underneath the car!!!
xyber 1
sounds the nutttts' date='could this be done on a mk3?[/quote']no need, vr's have room in the bay
DanH 1
been done on a vento aint it. cant see the point myself tho

xyber 1
Don't see the point in that? It keeps bay temps down amd looks tidy I suppose, but the time 7ft of tuning gets up to pressure and low pressure at that, must be nuts. If you wanted to run 2 huge turbos In a cramped V8 I can see the point, but a single average size turbo like that would just be better all round fitted in the usual way
DanH 1
yea if theres no room fair nuff......pretty different tho, but theres a reason why they dont normally go there! more of a step backwards lol
RAPgolfvr6182 2
down to stealth alot of states in america are strict on tuning etc so if copper pulls u over n checks under the hood for performance parts hes not going to see 2 hugh turbo staring at him
DreadedDev 0
Although the massive TURBOCHARGERS.COM sticker and the huge stainless steel pipe going into the engine from below might give the game away somewhat........
RAPgolfvr6182 2
check where his turbo is
CALICO 130
yes it can be done on a mk3 but if you look in the buikd thread the airfilter is at the back of the car which is not the best place considering the amount of spray you get at the back with the typical british weather
