keep losing water

hi ppl i keep losing water but its coming out of my expation tank from the overflow pipe! i can also open it no matter how hot n it seams like it dnt have any pressure it there

either water pump not pumping or thermostat stuck causing it to over heat and the water not to flow is my guess mate ....

What colour cap you got. I'm thinking it just isn't pressurising

lol its a blue one! its not over heating its staying a 90, and it i try it on with the cap off i can watch the stream off water come back it so i take it by tht the pump works

is there water coming out the small pipe goin to the top of the bottle ???

my thermostat doesnt work properly but still gets pressure in header tank. id get the water sniffed tested to check headgasket hasnt gone just to be on safe side water been blow through overflow is one of the first signes of headgasket failure

yer water comin out of the small from the top of bottle...... ill try the sniff test then aswel but any other ideas

check pipe work u might have a blockage in the pipes if u squeeze the pipes u should see water in the header tank rise n fall when u do it. can u see the water return in the headertank when engines running?

is ur headertank cracked might be slight crack that expanding when hot causing the leak????

I had the same problem I was lucky to find it was just a rubber o-ring missing from the cap.

mite b the o ring had a look at it n there nuthin there ill go get a new cap and see
