robs kustomz 0 Posted June 15, 2010 Report Share Posted June 15, 2010 scaned my car the other day as its under preforming fine when its cold but soon as it get past 70 ish on temp gauge it goes really flat and hesertent these are the codes i got .should add its a mk3 2.0 8v been converted to vr6 655535 ecu defective00515 hall sensor -g40open circuit/short with power00553 mass air flow sensor -g70short with grounderror occurs intermittent00513 engine speed sensor g28no signalany help would be great Link to post Share on other sites
thegoth 5 Posted June 15, 2010 Report Share Posted June 15, 2010 did you clear the codes to see which came back?00513 is always listed on OBD1 cars which arn't running.your symptoms might be down to a bad engine temp sensor. do you just have a code scanner or vag-com?
