carl7777 0 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Share Posted July 20, 2010 hi all,ive had my vr6 just over a week now and loved every second of it,ive given it a good clean and she comes up very well,ive a rear end problem though....the rear end bounces and feels very twitchy and nervous....,over sleeping policemen the rear end bounces lots......im hoping its not the subframe bushes and only the shocks,any input would be appreciated,carl Link to post Share on other sites
T0NYVR6 2 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Share Posted July 20, 2010 My mates mk3 tdi did the same thing and it was the rear suspension, you could see the back wheels lift of the ground when he went over any bumps. lol He put new shocks, springs and top bush's on and all is fine now. thegoth 5 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Share Posted July 20, 2010 sounds like mine has been recently. hitting a cats eye while cornering felt like it was going to swap ends. And on concrete roads like it would do the same, going in a straight line!Rear shocks had gone ( failed mot for negligable damping ) and it was just bouncing on the springs.some new coiliees later and she's fine.
