vw breakers/dismantlers

alreeet gang,

basically i am in desperate need of a 2.9 vr6 engine but they are bout as rare as a pork pie at a jews wedding

anyone know of any vw breakers yards or dismantlers that i can hit up to try and find my pork pie

tried a few but there are always others hiding away round the country,

any areas in the country as like i say i am desperate

cos i got a 2.9 corrado, and basically i am buying a second engine to tune up while on a stand and then just chuck it in the car when it is completed so it dont ahv to be off the raod for any time.

so wud prefer to keep 2.9 but if i get extremly desperate i will hav to look at converting to 2.8 as they are easier to get hold of

No but 2.8 4motion engines are cheap and easier to get. Cosworth designed head and schrick type inlet manifold as standard.

ahhhhh i see, well if it comes to it then yer i think that is an option just depends how long i can hold this search on for as i hav the doller to start tinkerin, so its killing me not having an engine
