geo7087 11 Posted July 29, 2010 Report Share Posted July 29, 2010 any quick replies would be welcome as need to call VW in the morning,basically my coolant pipe has a split so coolant wont stay in my engine and now i can baely drive the car very far lolthose hose im looking for is no 19 in the following diagramhttp://www.vr6oc.com/e107_files/public/1242298922_5463_FT286602_coolant_system.pngand the hose highlighted here.....Can anyone tell me or link me to the part number? cheers, also is there anyway i can patch it in the meantime? Ben Seabrook 4 Posted July 29, 2010 Report Share Posted July 29, 2010 (19) 1H0122101E water hose / (reservoir > throttle valve housing > coolant thermostat housing > radiator)part no is above mate and as for fix if you know where the split is can seal it with gaffer tape as long as your not driving very far and keep couple of bottles of water in the car with you !! Lukey. 381 Posted July 30, 2010 Report Share Posted July 30, 2010 have you seen the price of that run from VW? when my T piece split they wanted something ridiculous like £65 just for the bigger diameter section of piping, from the rad to the block. only reason im saying is if it was a shed load to buy that run of piping id get samco itll last forever Link to post Share on other sites
