A 306.....My worst nightmare' date=' had the 1.4 as a first car, bout it for 1200, me being an idiot and t the time having no clue on fixing anything myself, spent a further 1400 in parts and labour at the garage to constantly get the thing fixed! worst year of my life!

yep know what you mean baz i had a mk1 facelift capri 3lt then a mk1 3lt gt one and finally a mk2 3lt ghia and not one of them survived lol lol killed them all

yep i no i cant remember the amount of times stood at a roundabout looking confused why the rear axels and stubys used to rip off lol i remember when i got my first 2.8 and the boot was filled with sheets of lead he said just leave it in there mmm couple of days after removing it went to blackbushe

never driven one my neighbour has got the turbo 1.8 one and he loves it but as said never tried one but they do look nice

lol lol never had the 2.8 funny enough i was looking at a tickford turbo one the other day bloody hell they fetch good money it was up for 14k and a good standerd 2.8 is around the 5-6k for a good un now

yes, altho it spent most of its time at the garage i have to admit, handling wise was sooo fun, had a lot of good times in the middle of the night on roundabouts, flicking the back out lol, they had passive rear wheel steering to which was awsome haha.

This thread had me digging up the memories of all my cars now, heres another one that was a bit special, not very many of these around even now.

Mazda 3 MPS, with LSD, MazdaSpeed intake, MazdaSpeed exhaust and Cobb remap, 320BHP. No joke this was a 911 rustler

That was my brothers Polo GTI 20VT in the background, i would have one of those it was nice, just a smaller golf GTI clone, which is no bad thing

did get my arse properly kicked by a mclaren thought i was doing well untill we hit around 70 then he just booted it and dissapeared into the distence i was on a 185 mph gixer 750 at the time and god it never felt so slow the way he pulled away was amazing

I've had various cars, renault 19 16v, 4x 205 gti's, renault clio 16v, rs turbo, 306 turbo diesel, mk1 golf, mini 30 year anniversary model, a few crustys too, but they're not worth posting!!

I did like, no love the old 205 gti's, hence the numbers i've owned. But it all came to an end, sadly. Bought a mint pug.

This was the shortest i'd ever owned a car, bought it on the monday, did this on the friday!!

Yeah, i got out of the boot of the 205!!! Tut tut, no seat belt, tut tut... But yeah, round a corner too fast, typical french arse end letting go in the damp, should have known better. :-(
