lukavr6 0
hi there! i am looking to do a brake conversion on my 92 rrado, to 312 mm discs. i've read the sticky topic, but there is a catch. i swaped my stock rrado calipers with 2 piston audi s2 calipers, redone them and with new brake pads, which i really do not want to throw away. any ideas how i check for clearance, so i make sure the caliper will fit over the disc? if not, are there any solutions, to make it fit?thanks, luka
Lukey. 381
G60 callipers are a the same fit as G56, you will need the carriers from a 312mm carThis is what you will find 312mm carriers onAudi * A3 1.8 20V Turbo from 1996 * A3 Quattro 1.8 20V Turbo (110/132 KW) from 1998 * A3 1.9 TDI (96 KW) from 2000 * S3 Quattro 1.8 20V Turbo from 1999 * TT 1.8 20V Turbo (110/132 KW) from 1998 * TT Quattro 1.8 20V Turbo (132/165 KW) from 1998 Seat * Toledo II 2.3 V5 from 1999 * Leon 1.8 20V Turbo from 2000 Skoda * Octavia 1.8 20V Turbo from 1998 * Octavia 1.8 20V Turbo VRS from 2000VW * Golf IV 2.3 V5 from 11.1997 * Golf IV 2.8 V6 24V 4motion from 1999 * Golf IV 1.8 20V Turbo GTI Anniversary Edition * Golf IV 2.3 V5 from 1999There are probably moreBasically any VAG car that has over 150BHP from the factory will probably have 312mm brakes

lukavr6 0
nice! so everything stays the same. upgrade of the brake fluid hoses is also a smart move i persume?do you know where to get the carriers-ebay, but i dont know how to spell brake carriers in german... Lukey. 381
they pop up on ebay often enough but most are as part of the set, rarely on their own. So youd have to either trawl ebay often and get lucky or get them from a motor factors or something
