brakes-need help

hi there!

i am looking to do a brake conversion on my 92 rrado, to 312 mm discs. i've read the sticky topic, but there is a catch. i swaped my stock rrado calipers with 2 piston audi s2 calipers, redone them and with new brake pads, which i really do not want to throw away. any ideas how i check for clearance, so i make sure the caliper will fit over the disc? if not, are there any solutions, to make it fit?

G60 callipers are a the same fit as G56, you will need the carriers from a 312mm car

Basically any VAG car that has over 150BHP from the factory will probably have 312mm brakes

so the calipers can stay, but the carriers have to be swaped?

and does anybody have zimmerman discs on? looking to buy 312's, bored, for the swap. are they ok?

yes just new carriers to position the callipers correctly on 312mm discs

nice! so everything stays the same. upgrade of the brake fluid hoses is also a smart move i persume?

do you know where to get the carriers-ebay, but i dont know how to spell brake carriers in german...

they pop up on ebay often enough but most are as part of the set, rarely on their own. So youd have to either trawl ebay often and get lucky or get them from a motor factors or something
